Research Interests

My current research focuses on interaction and collaboration paradigms in immersive environments. One of the main affordances of immersive technologies is the ability to generate in humans the illusion of being in a 3D interactive environment, where they can also interact with other people no matter where they are. However, the implementation of such new technologies raises some challenges that need to be considered when approaching the design and development of virtual scenarios for collaboration. My research has been focused on identifying usable and efficient approaches that users can take advantage of such technologies.
